Generation-3 CAN FD analyzers: high-throughput communication and standalone workflows
BUSMUST generation-3 analyzers are designed for higher bus loads, coordinated multi-device work, and less manual intervention. The family spans one, two, and four-channel models plus CAN FD + LIN variants, all supported by the BUSMASTER, BMCLI, and BMAPI SDK software ecosystem.

High-throughput bus communication
Section titled “High-throughput bus communication”CAN FD data rates reach 12 Mbps. Two-channel and larger models use 480 Mbps USB, sustaining stable communication while multiple channels approach full load. Hardware timestamps and microsecond-class multi-device synchronization preserve event order across channels and devices.
Move repetitive work into hardware
Section titled “Move repetitive work into hardware”Generation-3 devices execute timed transmission, receive filtering, frame routing, and sequence replay in hardware. Lightweight configuration such as bit rates, termination, transmit tasks, and routing rules can be saved to the device and resumed after power-up.
Standard generation-3 analyzers do not include a TF card. Choose X2R, X4R, or GWR products for long-duration standalone logging and large-file offline replay.
