  • BUSMASTER 3.2.2.43: a complete Chinese UI plus CAN/CAN FD, LIN, UDS, logging, and update workflow improvements.
  • BMAPI SDK 1.14.2.43: greater transmit, receive, and BUSOFF stability without changing API compatibility.
  • Generation-3 analyzer firmware: accumulated stability improvements for BUSOFF recovery and high-pressure transmission; the new BUSMASTER release can check and install the update.
  • July–August engineering record: 118 merged mainline pull requests, touching 1,193 source files with 265,568 lines added or removed.

Version 3.2.2.43 provides a complete Chinese UI with switching between Chinese and English. This lowers the learning curve for engineering, test, production, and after-sales teams and helps projects standardize operating instructions across roles.

The language can be selected in the upper-right corner of the main window and takes effect after restarting BUSMASTER.

More automatic and precise CAN and CAN FD setup

Section titled “More automatic and precise CAN and CAN FD setup”

The upgraded AutoSet bit-rate detection supports two operating modes:

  • Passive listening is intended for vehicles and active networks with existing traffic. It listens without transmitting.
  • Active probing targets a standalone ECU that does not transmit on its own. BUSMASTER sends candidate probe frames and evaluates the ECU response; engineers should assess interference risk before using it on a working network.

Advanced CAN FD timing now exposes separate bit rate, sample point, and related parameters for the arbitration and data phases. The release also provides clearer guidance when a device or channel cannot be found or a connection fails.

BUSMASTER 3.2.2.43 reworks LIN Schedule Table configuration, execution, switching, stopping, and restoration. After loading an LDF, BUSMASTER can organize Master Write and Master Read tasks from the selected schedule instead of requiring engineers to create periodic frames one by one.

When a schedule is selected, BUSMASTER checks the required transmit entries and can create missing entries or correct their direction in one operation. Updating BUSMUST LIN analyzer firmware is recommended when using the new workflow.

A UDS service panel for practical diagnostics

Section titled “A UDS service panel for practical diagnostics”

BUSMUST extends the open-source BUSMASTER base with a complete UDS service panel. Services are arranged in a tree for direct access to session control, DID reads and writes, Tester Present, 0x27 SecurityAccess, and 0x34/0x36/0x37 download sequences.

The panel reduces manual hexadecimal payload construction while keeping requests and responses visible for ECU debugging, repeat diagnostics, and download validation.

More dependable ASC, BLF, and LOG workflows

Section titled “More dependable ASC, BLF, and LOG workflows”

In addition to its original LOG format, BUSMASTER supports common ASC and BLF logs. Engineers can record traffic with BUSMUST hardware and continue analysis in other tools, or import third-party logs into BUSMASTER for review and replay on a real bus.

Version 3.2.2.43 concentrates on CAN FD and LIN records, format conversion, replay timing, large-file handling, and file interoperability with third-party tools such as CANoe.

Continuous software, firmware, and feedback updates

Section titled “Continuous software, firmware, and feedback updates”

The release improves background checks, manual upgrades, driver installation, and error guidance for BUSMASTER and device firmware. Automatic update checks help users receive subsequent maintenance versions promptly, while generation-3 device firmware can be checked from the toolbar.

BUSMUST plans a shorter continuous update cadence after 3.2.2.43. When reporting an issue through technical support and feedback, include the device model, software and firmware versions, reproduction steps, screenshots, or logs so the engineering team can diagnose and track it efficiently.
