Node simulation (upstream compatibility)

BUSMASTER retains the node-simulation tools, node-simulation APIs, and supporting C runtime from the upstream open-source release for compatibility with existing projects. Their CAN, J1939, LIN, and C runtime references are collected under this section.

These features remain available for upstream compatibility, but they are not the primary BUSMUST path for new, long-term-maintained integrations. For new node simulation, automated test, or custom application projects, we recommend the BMAPI SDK. It provides a unified device API, complete examples, and multiple language bindings for maintainable engineering applications.
