Vehicle Digital Cockpit: Offline Web Demo

Open index.html in a modern browser. HTML, SVG, Canvas, and JavaScript display simulated driving conditions. All assets are bundled for offline use.

  • Switch scenarios: urban cruising, stop-and-go driving, and continuous bends. Switching regenerates simulated history.
  • Pause / resume: pause the simulation clock to inspect state; simulation time also pauses when the browser tab is in the background.
  • Hover over the curve: read the corresponding sample time and speed.
  • Export window CSV: export the latest 60 seconds of simulated data; source is always simulation.

At 20 Hz, the 60-second window contains 1201 points including both endpoints. Simulated history is prefilled at startup, with synchronized gear, steering, and turn indicators.

index.html?snapshot=1 freezes the screenshot scenario at 72.5 km/h, −18°, gear D, and left indicator on. The normal entry runs continuously.

In cockpit.js, sampleAt() generates samples, renderSample() displays current values, and the history buffer supplies the curve. Ask AI to retain display components, replace the source with BMCLI signals, and map units, enums, quality, and time. The sibling web/ directory provides a basic read-only BMCLI page; see the main example README for startup.

With real data, show “Not configured” for unbound components and draw actual samples with gaps for missing data. Extend message operations, records, desktop packaging, and cloud services following tutorial 5.
