Teaching Test Criteria

VehicleStatus.Counter in ../02-from-bus-to-signals/network/vehicle-demo.dbc is four bits with range 0..15. This example requires adjacent values from a dedicated continuous source to satisfy next == (previous + 1) % 16. Use 0..4 for increment checks and 14,15,0,1 for wrap checks, reporting the groups separately.

Receive at least one frame with zero gaps and dropped in the summary. This checks observation-path completeness. Mark no traffic as awaiting acquisition; for losses, record counts and corresponding intervals for analysis.

COM-VEH-001/002/003/006 check standard ID, scaling/units, enumerations, and ranges against the bundled DBC. Read the file or use BMCLI dbc message show, dbc signal show, and encode/decode. Decoding preserves observed values for project-rule judgment; encoding checks inputs against defined ranges.
